At OCA, we use a variety of high-quality curriculum resources to help students grow and thrive—not only academically, but also emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
Our lower elementary classrooms provide a nurturing environment where children feel supported and excited to learn. Each day includes time for Bible study and prayer, helping students grow in both faith and character. Core learning focuses on building strong foundations in Literacy and math, while Science, Health, and Social Studies concepts are explored through engaging, hands-on experiences. Guided reading and writing, along with experiential learning, encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for discovery.
Lower Elementary (P-Gr. 3)
Upper Elementary (Gr. 4-6)
Our upper elementary classrooms provide a nurturing environment where students continue to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. They participate in a rich variety of subjects, including Literacy, Math, Science, Health, Social Studies, Bible, Physical Education, Music, and French. Each class is designed to be both meaningful and engaging, with curriculum and activities carefully chosen to spark curiosity and meet a variety of learning styles. Students learn through a blend of small group instruction and whole-class experiences, encouraging collaboration, confidence, and independence. Daily time for Bible study and prayer helps students deepen their faith while developing strong character and a love for learning.
Our junior high classrooms provide a supportive and Christ-centred environment where students are encouraged to take on new challenges and grow in independence. The program offers a well-rounded curriculum that includes core subjects alongside Bible, Physical Education, Music, and French. Lessons and activities are intentionally designed to be meaningful and engaging, helping students connect learning to their daily lives and future goals. With opportunities to work in small groups, whole-class settings, and through hands-on projects, students develop critical thinking skills, collaboration, and resilience. Daily time for Bible study and prayer continues to nurture their faith and character, preparing them for high school and beyond.
