ADMISSIONS
Choosing a private education for your child is a major decision and we want you to know we are here to help you in your decision-making process. We encourage you to make an appointment through our office to meet with our Principal so we can answer any questions that you may have.
New Students Always Welcome
You don't have to wait for the beginning of a new school year to apply to OCA. Students are welcome to register at anytime during the year. Feel free to contact the School Office if you have any questions, or if you would like to arrange an appointment to come in to see our school.
Admission Procedures*
If you're interested in enrolling a student at OCA, please email info@oceanviewchristianacademy.ca for more information.
Step 1 - Application
Please submit the completed application to the OCA office. The application form includes:
- Student Application / Health & Permission Forms: required to be completed for each student enrolling; includes health information and medical treatment instructions; permission for attending school events, publishing photos and leaving school grounds.
- Covenant Agreement: All families must enter into a covenant with OCA to complete enrollment. This form suggests that parents are in agreement with the policies of the school and understand the OCA Statement of Faith.
- Reference Letters: applicants are asked to submit two reference letters.
- School Records: Parents are to contact the previous school to forward the report cards and records to OCA.
Step 2 - Family Interview
As requested by the school and if desired by the family, an interview may be set up before final decisions are made. The interview may include parents and the student(s).
Step 3 - Final Acceptance
The Principal makes the final decision regarding acceptance, and students will be notified immediately once an admissions decision is made.
*Note:
- Upon acceptance, academic assessments will be employed to each new student to ensure that their needs are met.
- Enrolment is subject to the availability of classroom space and at the sole discretion of Oceanview Christian Academy.

- Certain Extra-Curricular Activities

First payments are due in August.
